North and South exits from the M1 (Pacific Highway) connect directly with a network of dual carriageways and arterial roads to reinforce Robina Town Centre’s position as the centrepiece of the Gold Coast.
The new Tugun Bypass will provide an enormously effi cient transport corridor linking Robina Town Centre to Northern New South Wales, providing a renewed opportunity to capitalise on these rapidly expanding Southern beachside regions. The Bypass project also includes essential works which are necessary for the future rail link between Robina and the Gold Coast Airport1.
The final piece of the road network to be constructed as part of the Robina Town Centre redevelopment is the creation of the East West Link Road on the property’s northern boundary. This 620 metre road will complete the Inner Ring Road and provide direct access from the North East and West to the Centre’s new entertainment and dining precinct and new carpark.
The Robina rail station serves as the principal terminus for the express Brisbane to Gold Coast rail link and is already earmarked for duplication and extension to Varsity Lakes and Coolangatta.
