Given in  1954, adored by Karen ever since.

“This is my Edward. My parents gave him to me when I was three, which makes him 63 this year. I named him after my grandfather Edward whose nickname was Ted. You can see he’s missing fur on his face because I used to kiss him so much.

He has a replacement button eye that my mother sowed on, and some red stitches for a mouth after I accidentally pulled his tongue off (sorry Edward). Every year he gets a special new bow and sits pride of place under the Christmas tree. I just love him.”
